All dual citizens or about to become dual citizens , please use ur Canadian passport when u travel Pakistan.
Because if u get in trouble in Pakistan and u need help from Canadian govt, they will only help u if u landed on Canadian passport.
For example , God forbid
U were arrested or kidnapped or looted or injured or u have any dispute with police or local authorities and u need help , Canadian high commission in Islamabad may help u only if you landed on Canadian passport.
If u use Pakistani passport to land in Pakistan u will be considered as Pakistani and almost no help will be offered to you
when ever u travel to Pakistan or any country please register ur self with travel.gc.ca website by end of registration u will get a phone number , u will use that number if u gets in trouble, this way Canadian Government will have record that u r out of Canada and they can offer you help case of emergency.
my advise always use Canadian Passport with NICOP if u r visiting Pakistan
