Canadian Immigration - Express Entry

Immigration to Canada through express entry have two parts (explained below) , Most popular program is Federal skilled worker , this program is good for someone who have no job offer from Canada and who can also not afford to study in Canada.

First part
-----------
You have to check if you can apply for Canadian immigration - express entry

For that please check link below, you have to score 67 or above in this step
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-factors.asp

If you are not sure whether you are scoring above 67 or less , you can check this link
http://www.cic.gc.ca/ctc-vac/ee-start.asp

If you are getting above 67 it doesn't mean you qualify for Canadian Immigration , this will only take you to next step which is to creating an express entry profile , remember there is another points system in express entry system and don't start your application process until you are sure that you will get 67 in first step and above 400 in second step (express entry- Points system explained later)

You cannot create profile until you have done IELTS and have education credential assessed

How will they assess your IELTS score please check this link
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/language/charts.asp

they usually use Canadian Language Benchmark to assess your IELTS score , i have made table for you understanding about how CLB is equivalent to IELTS

CLB LevelReadingWritingListeningSpeaking
108.07.58.57.5
97.07.08.07.0
86.56.57.56.5
76.06.06.06.0
65.05.55.55.5
54.05.05.05.0
43.54.04.54.0

You have to score CLB 7 in first part and CLB 9 for second part to qualify for Permanent residency , my advice dont apply if your score in IELTS is less than 7 in any band and 8 in listening , you can apply for express entry with 6 band but you will not be invited for PR,  IELTS will cost you around 30,000 Pak rupees

Next step (Educational degree assessment)
you have assess you education degrees before you create your express entry profile , Canadian Immigration will not accept your degrees and you will not get any points for your education until you assess your degrees ,  your university will have to send your education degrees in sealed envelop to education assessment agency in Canada , Educational degree assessment will cost you around 200 Can Dollars (16000-17000 Pak RS)

here is link where you will find list of Education assessment agencies
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/assessment.asp

Next Step (Job codes)
when ever you apply for Canadian immigration you will use codes for your job , and you will see in link below which is best code which matches your present job
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/noc.asp

The occupation must be NOC 0, A, or B for FSW or CEC

Second Part
------------------
There is another points system in Express entry, you can check points details here
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/grid-crs.asp

If you want to know how many points will you score you check this link
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp

there is no passing points here but you should score above 400 , this will give you chance of getting invitation for PR.

once you have all done then you are ready to create express entry profile , you can create your express entry profile here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/profile.asp
and register for the Job Bank http://www.jobbank.gc.ca/home-eng.do?lang=eng

After your express entry profile is created you will be in a pool with thousands of other applicants around the world , applications will be only assessed by points and Merit ,you country of passport don't count.

last part wait for your invitation to apply (ITA) for Permanent residency , if you were invited for PR you will pay 550 Can Dollars/per adult (equal to 46000 pak rs) and
Landing Fee 490/adult (Children dont need to pay landing fee)  Can Dollars (41 Pak Rs)
Dependent children fee is 150 Can (13ooo Pak RS)
if you were not invited for PR in one year time your profile will expire and then you have reapply.

Canadian Immigration send invitation 2 or 3 times in a months to people with highest points , how many applicants will they select each time no one knows it depends upon Canadian Immigration requirements , but you can check the number of applicants selected each round and there score in this link
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/past-rounds.asp

I am not immigration consultant or lawyer , i am doing this on request of many Pakistanis who lives in Calgary Canada and who requested me to explain all this , all this is my own research please contact official sources before you take action on what i have explained above.
