qualifying score for single applicant is 49 and
for couple or family with kids its 57
people between 18 to 35 years can get full marks for their age , people over 43 will have no points so if some one is over 43 they don't need to apply
Maximum Language score is 22 in which 16 points is given to french (because Quebec is french speaking province)

only 6 points are awarded to English and acceptable proof for English is IELTS
for getting full marks in English , applicant have to take 7 in reading , writing , speaking and 8 in listening.
if applicant spouse have masters education with good score in french test , IELTS and aged less then 35 can get up to 17 points in spouse section
if applicant have children less then 12 they can get 4 points for each child up to 8 points maximum , for children over 12 up to 19 years old can get you score of 2 points per child up to 4 points maximum
Tricky thing in this whole process is getting points of your education , area of training and job experience, some educational degrees and occupations have more points then others , please fill this online assessment tool to get answer of this , if you are qualifying you can go to next step.

Biggest problem in this immigration is that this province accepts only 10 thousand applicants in this category and intake limit of 10,000 applications for the period of April 1, 2016 to March 31, 2017 has been reached, they will start taking new applicants after this date , to keep your self informed about status of intake applications every year please read this link regularly
